WIPs
I first started a project to make a great looking bag made of crocheted motifs. It's pattern I got from a Japanese crochet pattern book and the yarn I am using is Nikkelon S Egypt Super. I don't read Japanese but the nice instructor at Golden Dragon very kindly showed my what I needed for the project and helped me. I will need to return to ask her how to proceed when I've crocheted more circles.

Then I hear Angie is leaving to
relocate to Shanghai and Pin is going to Berlin for the Berlinale. So short-attention-span-me decided to put
my bag on hold and start knitting scarves! This also might have to
do with the fact that the crocheted bag required a certain degree
mathematical accuracy and I had to re-do the first line of motifs
about 3 times. So to ease my weary and frustrated mind I decided to
begin new projects.

So first project is Pin's scarf. It's a basket-weave pattern that is really quite easy for the beginner knitter. Just knit and perl. Her favourite colour is Industrial Orange but I couldn't find any wool of that colour at the store so I had to settle with a raspberry shade. This is a free pattern by Ann Budd from Knitting Daily. The yarn I'm using for this is Sublime Yarns Angora Merino in Chili. I'm just over half-way done with this project and I am hoping to complete this within the next days.
